Legos in Action

LEGOS!!

Every kid’s favorite building blocks when they are younger are Legos. So I knew when we could get a whole bus full including house parts, people, animals and trains at a garage sale for $13 bucks I was getting a steal! Simeon prefers to pour the legos out and then climb on in, but that's okay for now. He will get it someday.

I am feeling much better these days, but still getting sick occasionally. But the nausea has significantly improved which is good because it was putting a big damper on our wallet. Thank you all for your prayers!

We have to give a shout out to our dear Florida friends the Hale family, who just welcomed Miriam Therese on May 12th, and Patrick and Hanna, one of my college roommates who just had their first Elizabeth Anne, yesterday, May 20th. Congratulations friends! What can I say; May is just a good month to welcome new little ones. :)

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Jeremy will be done next Friday, in which we get to go to a Rockies game and sit in a box! And he has officially finished with AI till July when he takes two summer courses. It's nice to feel as though we can breathe a little.

In the Bus, but still sitting on a couple of bumpy legos.

That's more like it.

I am the King of the Lego pile!

Multi purpose, I can ride in or on!

The Live Version of the Fountain

Fearless boy wonder...

My First Fountain Experience

Summer is around the corner! The trees are blooming out, more people are out on walks, and we are making almost daily visits now to the park just down the street. This past Tuesday it was 85 degrees, which made for Simeon's first water fountain experience at the park.

I didn't have Simeon buckled in his stroller and as we approached the park, Simeon's eye caught the fountain! Before I knew it, he had slid out of the stroller and was crawling towards his desired destination. I tried to tell him that we would get their faster if he would just let me stroller him to the fountain. After two failed attempts to keep him in the stroller (buckling him at this point was pointless), he stood up in the buggie, and I pushed holding on to him at the same time.

I think Simeon is going to be a water dog. Even the older kids who were there were just running in and out for a quick cool off. Not Simeon. Fearless as ever, he went right for it, and there was no turning back! To say the least, I should have just put him in his swimming trunks! :)

I can see the water

Easy does it

oooooooooooh, that looks like a lot of fun...

Maybe I'll give it a try

Hey I was right, this is a lot of fun!

Oh man, water up the nose

This is a little better, skinny water versus fat water

Maybe I'll head on through

I'm cold

I'm recovered now that I have my wet shirt off...

and I'm might add that I make this look good

Playing some ball, drying off, attracting the babes

Hi mom!

This was fun Mom. Can we do it again?

Specs on the boy from our 12 month appointment

Hello all,

Simeon is proud to announce that he weighs 22lbs even, and is 29 1/2 inches tall! He did well today playing with the Dr. They said he was right on track for development, and expect him to be walking soon. He even stood by himself to show off for the Dr.!

Please continue to pray for me. Still getting sick. Still getting nauseous. :)

It's been long, but we're back!!!

Hello one and all,

We apologize for the delay in posting. We have been working hard, or hardly working, how ever you want to work it. We have been busy bring in spring here in Denver with a great trip to Spokompton for Easter with Grandma and Grandpa Piraino, the Johnson's and Janell and Dien.

Then Jeremy has been finishing up graduate school for the spring semester with a paper, a long speech and a final to come in a week. Along with a few weeks left of class at St. Mary's and then into a long awaited summer break.

And finally we have been celebrating to great events in our lives. First of all we celebrated Simeon's 1st birthday with friends from the area. About 14 people descended upon our apartment for our for the celebration. It was a great day and Simeon was truly a prince for the day. And the second great event is we are expecting our second baby in November. Diana is 14 weeks pregnent and progressing well. Our offical due date is Novemeber 5th, so please pray for Diana, and our growth as a family.
