Grandma Normi and Grandpa Rossi are Here!!

I am big and strong

At about this time, Dr. start to encourage tummy time! But we don't have to worry about that so much, because I sleep on my tummy and therefore, I am on my tummy all the time. My new thing is that I like to scoot in my crib. Mom often finds me nudged in a corner, trying to escape! I have gotten so big and strong so quickly!

Playing with Dad!

Dad gets to feeling pretty rejected when little Simeon won't take a bottle, when Mama is at work. So I decided to make it up to Papa this morning by having
lots of fun with him and playing with all my toys! I love the sounds they make,
and love to grab them and hold them in my hands! I was having so much fun with Dad, I didn't even notice Mama taking pictures. She caught me saying cheese!

I Love to Giggle!

We love Montana!

Most people say it's a little nuts to travel on a ten hour trip with a newborn. I would agree with most people, except for the fact that we never seem to do things the easy way! :) However, we sure had a lot of fun going up to Montana and spending some time with Jeremy family at the cabin on Ft. Peck Lake. Here are some of the shots that with the fam! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Cassidy!I love to look around when in Grandma Lorene's arms!

Family Pics!

My Horse Rattle is my absolute favorite!

The Redneck Mobile. Papa insisted that we wouldn't need the arm
to the mobile, so we made do with what we had....Redneck style!

Playing with flapper bear on the way home!

Happy 4th of July from the All American Boy!

Trip to Montana al la Poopooh!!

We decided it was time to stretch our legs and do some traveling, so up to Montana we went to see the Cassidy Family for the Fourth of July. Knowing that Simeon isn't the biggest fan of his car seat, we knew this might be a bit of a headache, but we needed to get out of our apartment just as much, so we decided to chance it!

Simeon wanted his favorite toy, so we decided to jimi-rig the mobile and hang it from the ceiling of the car. First thing when we were leaving Denver, Simeon started to cry. So on went the mobile, and the big dinosaur tears came to a halt! Dad's direct quote was, "Mama, your are a genius!"

May 3rd also marked a momentous day as it was Simeon's 2 month birthday, first long trip (for a vacation that is), and day 6 of no poopooh! Which means...of course we would have to go on Mama's lap!

We were traveling down the road, and Mama had just got done feeding the little guy, and Jeremy and I were just chattering away. All of a sudden, I thought Jeremy had a case of the barking spiders and so I asked him to crack the window. He rebutted and swore it wasn't him, and I knew it wasn't me. Of course, Simeon had loaded his diaper and was testing Mama's ability to stay quick on her feet! I didn't think it could be too bad yet, so I decided to open his diaper, and he was already in the process of filling that diaper to the maximum! Mama started yelling at Papa to pull over asap, as it was getting close to spilling on to Mama's pants. We aren't litter bugs, but that was the one time when we weren't going to be environmentally friendly, as we left the diaper on the side of the road.

Well, were almost there, about 15 minutes out, and Simeon is just getting antsy to get there. Mama decides to take him out for quick diaper check, and low and behold, Simeon stands up on legs, and lets one rip, and wahmoooooooooooooo, poopooh number two! Dad has the nerve to ask can it wait till we get to the cabin? (He of course doesn't feel the emergency, as I am holding him, and it's about to drip down his leg.) Would you wait to get to the cabin, if you waited 6 days to go poopooh? I don't think so! Of course, we go on a road trip and Simeon goes poopooh, not just once but twice!
