Splash, Splash, SPLASH!!

Bath time has become so much more fun now that Simeon can sit up and is a little bit more stable. He is still grasping at things to help with balance, but the tub lends naturally to his new abilities as it has a built in seat. Simeon is having a good ole time as he is splashing, reaching for the plastic cups that I rinse him off with, chewing on teething ring, and even sucking the water out of the wash rag (only to usually spit when I am getting him dressed).

I would like you to take notice to his impressive rolls on his tummy, and his leg chubs as Mom works hard to produce milk to fill that little man out! :) Simeon is a healthy little eater still, and is yet to start on solid foods. We went to the Dr. recently and he is a whopping 17 lbs. 3 oz. and 26 inches long! (You can really tell when you carry him around for a while.) Please say a little prayer for us though. Simeon is teething. He has cut his two front teeth, and may be cutting the two top teeth right next to the front teeth on either side! He's doing pretty good, but the catch is the night time: he's pretty much only sleeping in Jeremy's or my arms. So maybe don't pray for him, but rather for us! Happy Fall!

Playing Around

Like Papa like son

This weekend Papa got a chance to have some "Man Bonding" with a bunch of married men up in the Mountains of Colorado! You know, all the things men love to do and eat (beer and meat), grunt and scratch, laugh, make fire, and for some reason sleep out in the cold. :) When Papa got home, he returned to a little boy who just looked so much like him! I guess like Papa like son.

Simeon is really starting to take interest in everything around him except for his toys. I think he's had enough of them! He is rolling around and finding new objects to gnaw on. He is really taking to just about anything that he can get out of our hands while we are holding him. (especially the $10,000 big red jug) We haven't started solid foods yet, but I think we are getting close. Please pray for us as we discovered Simeon is now getting in his two front teeth! I guess that's all he wants for....HALLOWEEN! Why drink milk when you can Do the Dew?

Welcome Baby Emma!

This past weekend, we got the chance to see our new God Daughter, Emma Catherine DiNuzzo! She is absolutely beautiful, and so tiny (in comparison to our big boned Simeon) that you feel like you could break her! Catherine is doing a wonderful job adjusting to being a mommy of two, and the DiNuzzo's are a beautiful example of ChristianFamiliy witness! Thanks for having us come down! We loved our visit!
Lily and her Papa, Dave, with her new baby sister.

Simeon doing his usual, hamming it up!

Simeon trying to put the move on Lily. As you can tell,
Lily already knows that boy's have cooties.

Simeon's new favorite object: the 12,000 water jug. :)
He's nakie, becuase he just had diaper explosion.

Visit from the Cassidy's!

We had our third visit from Grandma and Grandpa Cassidy three weekends ago. We were accompanied with beautiful weather, a trip to the Mountains, and good conversation about politics (what else do you talk about when we are only 30 days away from the election)? One of the treats that we got to experience was going and getting Simeon's professional pictures done...to say the least, he was a ham! Right in the middle of the nudie pictures Simeon let the photographer have it, and the white background was no longer white. :) Thanks so much for coming to see us Cassidy Family! You are always welcome here and we love you! If you would like view Simeon's pictures just check out the information on the side of the blog. It will tell you where to go!

I'm fluffy like bread, do you think they would like to try a bite of me?
Cool dude.

Like mama, like son.

Simeon Sitting Up

It's already getting to be that time: Simeon wants to view the world from a whole new angel! He is happy as ever, gabbing up a storm, and giggling all the time now! If you call you may even hear him make what we call his "dinosaur noise," which sounds like a joyful scream. :)
