One the awesome things that you get to experience in being a parent is seeing the greatest gift God has given us, come into His family plan. On May 27th, we got to witness Simeon Christian Cassidy come into the fullness of the Christian Family. One of the lines in Father Brendan's homily that stood out to us was "this is one of the greatest gift you can ever give your child." Simeon was baptized within a personal mass, in which we all stood around the baptismal font. He was so good as he slept through most of his baptism, and he didn't even wake up when Father poured the water over his head! Thank you to all who prayed for him during this special time.
