Bronocos Outfit Proves to be More Lucky!
The Broncos outfit proved to be a little bit more lucky as the Bronco's won. Of course Simeon spit up all over it on Daddy again! I have officially talked him into only spitting up on Papa! I hope you all are well! We miss you guys!

A Culture of Life
One of our joys in living in Denver has been seeing so many new Moms. I have been invited to be apart of a Mom's group for a bible study, but also just a social time, and a time for the children to play together. We had seven moms and...12 children together today! It was funny to be in a group where you couldn't really pass your own child off, as just about everyone had a newborn in hand. It's a blessing to get to meet with some great women, and really find some support as a new mother. Below you can see the kidos pictured. Simeon is on the end looking real enthused. There are only two children that aren't in the picture.
From Left to Right: Simeon, Sam Bartek, Christopher McAdams, Mia
Bartek, Jane McCartney, holding her new sister Ann, Johnathan
Kuetemeyer, Keiran and his sister (I can't remember her name),
and Jacob Staples.

Day at the Park
In trying to enjoy every last drop of the nice warm Colorado summer weather, we have been trying to go to the park often! We enjoyed last weekend holding up in one of many parks by our home, and reading, chatting on the phone and napping if you are Simeon! I just wish that our summer weather would last just a little bit longer.

Cheer cheer for ole Norte Dame!
A new momentous day for son and Papa! Notre Dame football has begun once again! I would like to mention that Simeon spit up all over his onesie as soon as it was put on. And once Papa finally changed him out of his stinky onesie, Notre Dame finally shored a touch down! So we'll see how long this new "tradition" will last in the Cassidy household. :)

The Game of Life
Hello All!
We are sorry that it has been a while since we have updated our blog. We are finally getting more into a routine as Jeremy has started school, and graduate school, I am on a regular schedule with FOCUS, and Simeon has been taking all of our time the two days that he is not at our child care provider, Nana's Childcare. Because of all these changes, we are really getting used to life, and it's calming down with no traveling in sight for awhile now. (Which is a nice relief)
Jeremy and I in our spare time have been completely absorbed in the politics of our nation. We got to see our city swamped with people as Denver hosted the Democratic National Convention, and then tuned in the following week to the RNC. It's nice to have it over now, because the boop tube will be off more, but we thought it was important to tune in and see what each party had to say. We are personally very excited about the Republican pick of Sarah Palin, as neither one of us were very excited about the prospect of John McCain, but we refuse to vote for someone who isn't for the sancity of life, sanity of marriage, and someone who is going to raise our taxes increadibly in support of socilastic programs, which were not sure if we want to support. Overall were just not sure if we trust the words coming out of the mouth of Barak Obama.
Jeremy is loving his job, and especially loving his new principal. They are already talking about his future in the Catholic schools here in Denver as a Catholic School Principal, which is increadible to us, as we have only been here for three months. He is forming some great relationships with his teachers, and really enjoying getting to share his faith openly with his students. The prep work is a bit more than what he is used to, but he's finding a way to get it all done, and still have time to watch football on Saturday's. This weekend is the opening game of Notre Dame football, and Jeremy is proud to say that Simeon will be sporting his ND onesie. :)
I have been busy planning our Open House for our major benefactors in FOCUS. We have been in our new building since January, but it's finally starting to come together, as we ended up renting more space as planned due to FOCUS campus expansion. We occupy two floors of a bank building, and our office is complete with two three kitchen areas, and a gorgeous new chapel. It's pretty exciting to get the chance to work on projects, and stop by our chapel to pray in the middle of the day.
Simeon is growing like a weed! About a week and half ago, he cut two teeth! Man are those little buggers sharp. The more I put him down, the better he is getting at rolling from front to back, and then to front again! Sometimes I catch him up on all four. He is getting strong as well as he can fully support his head, pull mama's hair with a vengence, and hold our sonicare tooth brush, as we brush our teeth. To say the least, he is a character.
We love you all, and we'll write and post pictures and videos soon.
P.S. My favorite new joke..."What's the differnce between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick." Sarah Palin
