It's funny how kids go from barely interacting with you, to understanding you and starting to listen to the instructions that you give. It seems as if over night, Simeon has full blown developed his little personality. Mostly he is still so happy, and laughs a lot. But oh man, much of the time he is a ham bone. I think it's his father in him. Some of the new things that he now does is carries all of his toys all over the house, climbs in and out of the dishwasher (re-organizing it for mom in the mean time) brings me books to read, talks to himself all the time, gives hugs and kisses, waves good bye and hello, makes the beginning part of the sign of the cross (In the name of the Father and he puts his hand on his head), plays keep away when he knows he has something he shouldn't, and my personal favorite trows a little bit of a tantrum when he doesn't quite get his way. :) But it really is incredible to me how much he has grown, and how he just seems to understand so much more of what we are saying to him. We are trying to enjoy the last bit of summer with daily visits to the park, and sometimes the pool. He knows when papa is home, because he always runs to door and says "dada?" Needless to say..."personality walks, personality talks, personality smiles..."
